What’s in a name?  The company name Geovado is pretty simple really.  “Geo” for geospatial, and “vado”, is latin, meaning to advance or proceed.  The name forms part of our ethos, we want all Utility organisations to advance through the power that geospatial or location intelligence can deliver.

Geovado is an IT consultancy company specialising in all aspects of geographic information system implementations including solution design and analysis, database design, software engineering, systems integration, technical documentation, training and technical support.  Focused on providing superior consulting services to Utilities (Electric, Gas, Water and Telcos).

Geovado is the culmination of years spent working in the field of Utility GIS and building Enterprise Solutions for founder and director Neil Etheridge.
